BuildBoo (ABN pending) is a software platform providing job management, payment authorisation and collection, and bookkeeping records. We are not a bank, payment processor, or financial adviser. Payments are processed by Pinch Payments (a Fiserv company).
BuildBoo provides: job management tools, payment authorisation and collection via Pinch, and automated bookkeeping records. The contract for the actual trade work is between the tradie and customer — BuildBoo is not a party to it and does not guarantee work quality.
By entering card details, the customer authorises a charge of the stated amount when the tradie marks the job complete. The amount is fixed at booking; variations require fresh authorisation. Card data is tokenised and held by Pinch, never by BuildBoo.
Job-quality disputes are between the tradie and customer under Australian Consumer Law. Refunds are issued through the platform. Chargeback rights are unaffected.
Tradies pay a monthly subscription plus a disclosed platform fee on transactions. No surcharges are applied to consumers.
Data is collected and used per our Privacy Policy. Payment data is processed by Pinch, Supabase, and Vercel. Requests to access or delete personal data are honoured.
The platform may only be used for lawful trade services. Prohibited and restricted industries as defined by Pinch's own policies apply.
Services are provided with due care. Nothing excludes non-excludable Australian Consumer Law guarantees. Liability is otherwise capped at fees paid in the prior 12 months.
Governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You may cancel anytime. On exit, export your books.
